Challenge
Letify is a lettings and renting digital platform which connects the landlord and tenants seamlessly. Letify is revolutionising the way the lettings industry work by cutting down the hassle of high street agents.
The project brief is to design a simple to use yet comprehensive platform which will connect the users. It must cater to the needs of both the landlords and tenants by giving them tools which make their life easier.
From listing the property to search property engine, from setting a landlord's availability to verifying users and from raising a fault in the property to getting it fixed from any part of the world on few clicks, the platform is transparent and comprehensive. The platform also connects different third party services via APIs. These services are both essentials (e.g. gas certificates, inventory, etc.) and on-demand (fix a fault, furniture, etc.)
Reflection
Being the only designer, I have thoroughly enjoyed the designing this product. This challenge has been truly a learning experience as I was involved in all parts of the design workflow.
It gave me an opportunity to work in a start-up from scratch. I gained good experience in balancing the needs of the stakeholders and users but also considering the technical feasibilty.
